Poetry Saturday: Plathian.

I am one of those,

Who destroys with a look

And relishes touching to wither.

I live in lies and fantasies

Including but not limited to

The notion that we shall be together,

Someday.

I hoard men like possesions,

Toys to use and discard at my leisure on my worst days.

On my best,

I stew in facts and fancies.

I cannot have you,

I do not want to,

But damned if anyone else can.

It’s a coal at the pitch of my libido.

I am one of those,

Who destroys with a look

And relishes touching to wither.
